Privacy Policy — Bizzy Beavers

The short version

Bizzy Beavers does not collect your data. Everything you enter stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account — which we cannot access. We don’t track you, show ads, or share anything with third parties.

Who we are

Bizzy Beavers is a family chores-and-rewards app published by LittleBuildersLab. It helps parents set tasks for their children, approve completed work, award points, and let kids redeem points for rewards.

What information the app handles

You (the parent) enter information to run the app, including:

• Child profiles — name, optional age, and an avatar you pick.
• Tasks, rewards, and behaviors — titles, descriptions, point values, and any notes you add.
• History — completed tasks, redemptions, and behavior incidents.
• Optional task photos — if you ask a child to attach a photo as proof a task was done.
• A parent PIN — stored as a one-way hash in the device Keychain.

Where that information lives

• On your device, in the app’s local storage.
• In your private iCloud, if you are signed in to iCloud. Bizzy Beavers uses Apple’s CloudKit private database, which keeps your data in your own iCloud account and syncs it across your iPhone and iPad. We have no access to your iCloud data. Its handling is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

We do not transmit your information to LittleBuildersLab or to any other server, because the app has no backend.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information.
• This version of Bizzy Beavers does not use analytics or tracking, and shows no ads.
• We do not include third-party SDKs that collect data.
• We do not ask you to create an account with us or sign in with Apple.

Photos

If you use the optional task-photo feature, photos are stored on your device and in your private iCloud only. They are never uploaded to us and never shared.

Notifications

Bizzy Beavers can send notifications to keep your family informed of activity — for example, when a child submits a task or a parent approves one. Today these are delivered as on-device local notifications. Future versions may also deliver notifications across your devices using Apple’s Push Notification service (APNs) and iCloud. Any notification we send contains only app activity (such as a task title) and is never used for advertising or tracking. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Bizzy Beavers.

Children’s privacy

Bizzy Beavers is designed to be set up and operated by a parent or guardian. Information about children is entered by the parent and stays in the parent’s device and private iCloud; we never receive it. The app contains no advertising, no behavioral tracking, and no in-app purchases directed at children. Our practices are aligned with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children.

Your control over your data

You are always in control:

• Export a full backup at any time from Settings → Backup → Export backup (a JSON file you own).
• Delete everything from Settings → Reset → Wipe all data. Because data syncs through iCloud, wiping also removes it from other devices signed in to the same iCloud account.
• Delete the app to remove its local data from a device. To remove iCloud copies, use Wipe all data first, or manage app data in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud.

Security

Your data is protected by your device’s security and, where used, by Apple’s iCloud security. The parent PIN is stored only as a salted one-way hash in the device Keychain — never in plain text and never transmitted.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version at the same URL. Material changes will be reflected in an app update.
